26. WHO WILL BE THE BRIDE AND WHO THE GUESTS  ON THE WEDDING FEAST?
Part 3 of 3

Today one teach that in order to be saved a man has to believe in Jesus and execute all God’s commandments, and if one of the commandments will be broken, it is equivalent to infringement of all, and consequently the man will not be saved. Adventists teach that without keeping the fourth commandment (Sabbath) nobody can be saved. They are quoting James 2:10, though James told about the salvation through observing of the Law, not about the salvation through the faith in Jesus.

Before Jesus a Jew who kept faithfully the Law, but in some moment of his life had broken one of the commandments should die for it. If someone would worship another god (Deu.17:2-5), would consult sprits of dead (Lev.20:27), break the Sabbath (Ex.31:14), would not respect his parents (Lev.20:9), kill (Ex.21:23), commit adultery (Lev.20:10) or lie (Deu.19:18-21) he should die for one of those sins. James explained to Jews that Jesus had changed it all. By His sacrifice through faith in Him all our sins are forgiven. So, Gentiles were forgiven for worshiping other gods; Jesus forgave a woman who committed an adultery (John 8:3-11);   Peter didn’t kill the possessed girl (Deu.18:10), instead he expelled the spirit out of her (Act.16:16-18).  Jesus said that even in Kingdom of Heaven there will be people who have broken some of the commandments (Mat. 5:19). Thus, no one sin (except for an unpardonable sin) can separate us from God’s mercy, love and therefore from salvation.

Adventists teach, if a man eat a pork, he will not be saved. Nor Jesus nor disciples taught that. We know that Peter not only ate with Gentiles but even lived as a Gentile  (Gal.2:11-14). This teaching that unclean food can prevent people from receiving salvation is almost similar to that some Jesus' disciples from Jews taught, if a man will not be circumcised he can not be saved (Act.15:1). Paul said: “food will not cause our acceptance by God nor commend us to Him” (1Cor.8:8), however Adventists are referring Isa.66:17, where it is spoken not  about the forbidden food, but about an idolatry, that God knows «their works and their thoughts» (66:18) those who worship devil in holy groves and eat all dirty things to please him. Thus, Isaiah was talking about the breaking the first and most important commandment by people who knew the only One God.

The rules about unclean food were part of the Law. Disciples said that from the Law Gentiles have to learn only: “abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood” (Acts 15:19,20, 24,29; 21:25).

The unclean food has not mentioned in the 10 commandments and have nothing to do with salvation. On the other hand, for people who love God to keep the God’s given diet is a natural thing.  However if a person loves God but doesn’t follow the diet, that only thing will not shut the door of the Kingdom before him, because even in the Law “
the more important matters of the Law—justice, mercy and faithfulness” (Mat.23:23).

Ellen White said "The health reform, I was shown, is a part of the third angel's message and is just as closely connected with it as are the arm and hand with the human body" (Testimonies for the Church,v.1, p.486; Last Day Events,p.80). However Rev.14:9 said that the third's angel message is: do not receive the mark of the beast. By adding her health reform vision to the third angel's message, Ellen White hence asserts that those that rebelled against her health reform, rebelled against God and will lose their salvation together with those that worship the beast.

You see if it would be necessary to observe everything of that¸ then how can be sure in their salvation those who accepted Jesus but could not stop to work on Saturdays, or could not stop to eat a pork, because in their country everything is cooking with pork. Therefore some are loosing their faith deciding that they are not capable to reach the salvation by any means, and leave a church forever, being disappointed in God and not having understood God's love.

Others teach, that every Jesus' believer will enter into Kingdom of Heaven. Thus they belittle a value of the Kingdom by drawing not a narrow way to it, as Jesus taught, but a wide road. The main argument of their doctrines is Jesus' promise to the thief on a cross.

However, let see whether or not  Jesus had promised to the thief the Kingdom of heaven. The thief on a cross had got to believe, that Jesus is Christ and repented his sins (Luke 23:43), thus he had received the gift of God - the eternal life. But Jesus didn’t tell him: ”You will be with Me in Kingdom of Heaven”,  He said : “Verily I say unto you today, you will be with Me in a paradise”. The thief repented his sins and  accepted Jesus as Son of God thus he got the salvation. But he wasn’t  born again, he didn’t receive the Holy Spirit so he cannot enter into the Kingdom. He cannot be resurrected at first resurrection to be a priest of Jesus, but he will be resurrected at the second resurrection to live on the new earth, in the paradise, as Jesus promised him. The paradise was on the earth, not in heaven, and the New Earth will be the paradise.

The Bible clearly speaks, that for salvation it is necessary
to repent your sins before the Lord and ask His forgiveness (Luke 5:32; 13:3,5) ; to forgive others for their sins against you (Mat.6:15); to believe that Jesus paid for all your sins and do not sin any more, i.e. to not commit unpardonable sin. The salvation is the gift of God, any work for this purpose is not required. In this the love and mercy of God is. Not everyone can enter into the Kingdom, not everyone can be perfect in his faith, but everyone can be saved. It takes only the will.

Those who did not know God, will be judged according to the second tablet, i.e. how they were just with other people. So for example, in Russia there were three generations which did not have a possibility to know God, however during the war many people gave up their lives to rescue others; they shared with a neighbor a last piece of bread; they demonstrated the purest love and care for each other. Not knowing, they had the laws of God written down in their hearts (Rom.2:14,15). They will be saved, but they will not enter into the Kingdom, because without the knowing Jesus is impossible to enter into Heavenly Kingdom.

Sometimes people ask, what does a faithless, but honor and fair man wins, when he accepts Jesus? You see when he did not know Jesus and did something bad, while do not understanding of that, for those deeds he will be judged less, than for the same deeds, accomplished with a complete understanding of the sin (Luke12:47-48; John 15:22). Priests not always can answer such question. It turns out, that the acceptance of Jesus only increases a weight of the responsibility. Is it better for a person to live without of knowing of Jesus? Why does a non-believer
need to believe in Jesus?

First, through the repentance any sin can be forgiven to him, he can begin a new sinless life in Jesus, which will become a guarantee of the salvation. His reference to God became possible only due to the  Jesus' sacrifice, and only Jesus is intermediary between a man and God. Without Jesus there is no connection with God. A non-believer can not be sure if he will have a salvation. A Christ’s believer can be sure of it.

Secondly, through the faith in Jesus he can enter into the kingdom of Heaven.

Thus, the knowing Christ is a very important gain. It gives you an assurance of the salvation (if you will not commit unpardonable sin, will forgive others and will stay in your faith till the end) and hope for the Kingdom.

Ellen White taught: "Those who accept the Savior, however sincere their conversion; should never be taught to say or feel that they are saved. This is misleading"  (Christ's Object Lessons, p.155 ,1900 edition). This is the very wrong teaching which keeps people in the slavery of fear. Disciples taught to opposite:  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32).

By promoting E.White’s teachings Adventists are depriving people of hope of salvation, the great feeling of freedom and security in Jesus, the deep understanding of God’s love, His forgiveness and care for every person, His acceptance of human limits. He gave His Son so through the faith in Him everyone ( if he will stay in the faith until the end) can be saved - the salvation is the free gift of God (Eph.8:9). A person, if he believes in Christ, repents, forgives and helps others, and will not accept a mark of the beast, can be sure that he will be saved.

However not every believer can be sure if he will enter into the Kingdom, because the Kingdom is not the gift, but the award to the already saved people for a perfection of their faith (1Cor.3:14), which comes through a hard work. Those who are predetermined for the Kingdom sin can not, as   Holy Spirit, living in them, turns them away from any sin.

At first even the disciples did not understand the difference between the salvation and the Kingdom (Luke 19:11; Acts 1:6). They thought it is the same. They thought the Kingdom will be a renewed Israel kingdom as it was in antiquity. When some disciples asked if they will sit next to Jesus in the Kingdom, He said:
to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father”(Mat.20:23).

Pharisees considered the Kingdom as a renewed Israel kingdom also, and they thought they will be the first in there (Luke 17:20). So Jesus said to them: “The Kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you” (Luke 17:21). Thus, Jesus said,  that only God knows a heart of a man and only God will decide if a man is worthy of the Kingdom, because the Kingdom is not for all believers.

27.Is it important to know that not all saved people will go to heaven??

God gives us, as to the last generation before the coming
of Jesus, the understanding of the distinction between Heavenly Kingdom and salvation not by a coincident. For those who will be resurrected after the 1000 years it will be absolutely easy to accept the priests of God as extraordinary people, really God's people,  because after the 1000 years of their presence near to God they will change incredibly. As you remember, Moses' face shined after a couple days of communication with God (E
х.34:30,35), and they will be near to God for the 1000 years. Nobody will even imagine to place himself on the same level with them. They will be  the intermediaries  between the material and the spiritual world.

For our generation this knowledge is very important. God does not want, that believers would think, that He is not just with them. How will a priest feel, seeing himself left on earth, and a young pizza boy, whom he gave the first Bible lessons, being taken up to heaven? The priest taught all his life, that all righteous will go to heaven, it is enough only to believe in Jesus, and now suddenly he remains on earth. What will he tell to the others saved from his church, when they will ask him, why they have remained on earth?

Today for the majority to be saved and to be taken into the Heavenly Kingdom do not have any difference. A few who realize what a great honor is to inherit the Kingdom. Parables about a mustard seed (Mat. 13:31,32), about a treasure hidden on a field (Mat.13:44)  will be clear only to the saved righteous after the second coming of Jesus.

Those who will be saved not by their faith in Jesus, but by love toward to people, or by execution of the law (Jews) will understand, that they had missed the only chance to enter into Heavenly Kingdom through the faith in Jesus. In that day God «will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread over all nations»(Isa.25:7), and everyone will understand, that they have missed the most important in their life, because they did not communicate with God (2Cor.3:14-16). They will see their Savior, whom they rejected, «and they shall mourn for Him» (Zech.12:10). It will be the mourn of the five silly virgins, who will be late to enter into the Heavenly Kingdom: "There shall be weeping ... when ye shall see Abraham... and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out" (Luke13:28).

« At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. » (Mat.24:30).
«In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem... And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart; The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart; All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart» (Zech.12:11-14).

It means, that kings (David), prophets (Nathan –1King.1:10), priests (Levi), i.e. authority, and those who are submitted and not submitted to authorities (Shimei –1King.2:36-46) will mourn, i.e. all the saved will mourn. Zechariah  emphasized, that the wives will mourn also. According to a tradition of many eastern peoples, including Jews, only women mourned over the dead. The tragedy from a comprehension that they will not be taken to heaven only because they haven’t believe in the Son, will be so heavy, so even men will mourn.

Today you can think, that there is no big difference between the salvation and Kingdom of Heaven, but when you will be saved, you will mourn about the Kingdom. If someone will hope that he has the one talent of the faith (Mat.25:14-28), and it will be enough for the salvation, but going through future tests he can be left with nothing: «For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath» (Mat.25:29). Bible says, that antichrist will be so successful, that he will able to seduce even the elected for the Kingdom (Mat.24:24).

Some can think, that the knowledge that the Kingdom and a salvation are not absolutely one thing can make the believers go cold, to give them a false hope, that, if they are not good enough for the Kingdom, the salvation they will receive easily. However, when Jesus was asked what to do in order to be saved, He answered same as He answered to the rich man before: «Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able» (Luke13:24). That means, the goal should be always higher. Strive to enter the Kingdom, so if you will not rich it you still will be saved.

It seems, that to be saved in the time of antichrist will be not difficult, because Bible says: «And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD (i.e. who will put his trust in the Lord) shall be delivered» (Joel 2:32). God only will require do not accept the mark of the beast, be good with a neighbor and to repent. However a seduction will be so great, that few even will be capable to think about God, not only to address to Him and to repent. God will give a chance for the salvation to all sinners up to the last 7th trumpet, but "Revelation" tells, that and after the sounding of the 6th trumpet they will not repent: «And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils... Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts» (Rev.9:20,21; 16:11).

Jesus told: «except ye repent, ye shall all ..perish » (Luke13:5). However majority of the people will let to antichrist to deceive them. New age teaches, that each man can become a god. In every man there is already a sleeping god and in order to wake him up a person should invite an ancient spirit (which is a plain demon) to come inside of him and allow to the spirit to do that work in him. The antichrist will teach to the same. Millions of people will be possessed by demons and they  will be not capable to think independently anymore. Therefore a repentance will be completely alien to the majority of the people. Brainwashed they will lose a connection with God and will be lost.

Our generation is last one that is why the knowledge of the difference of the Kingdom of heaven and salvation is very important today.
