When Cain killed Abel God not only destroyed Cain for the murder, but put a seal on him, that nobody could kill him. This seal transferred to his children, and they were protected by God from an attempt on their life from outside (Gen. 4:24). In 1 Sam.15:6 it is said that when God handed over to Saul the people of Amalik, before destroying them Saul ordered the Kenites to leave the Amalekites midst, thus Saul saved the Kenites from destruction. Why did God do it? God is omnipresent, He knew about the Satan's conspiracy, but He did not want to use force and to suppress the Satan right at the beginning. God is justice and not dictatorship. The Satan convinced the angels that everyone worship the Most High, because He has the power. God gave the Satan an opportunity to have authority over the earth: could he win the human souls (see Book of Job)? From Cain's seed Antichrist - an embodiment of the Satan himself must rise up.
When
the Rechavites came to the God's church (it is described above), God through the
prophet Jeremiah said: « Because ye have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab your
father, and kept all his precepts, and done according unto all that he hath
commanded you:
Therefore thus saith the LORD of
hosts, the God of Israel; Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not want a man to
stand before me for ever» (35:18-19). Who is this man? He is the Satan. Thus God
announced his intention to destroy neither the Satan, nor his offspring. In
order the Satan had no opportunity to reproach God that He did not give him the
chance to prove, that he, the Satan, could carry away the whole world, God keeps
his seed up to the Day of Judgment. Besides by then the blood in these tribes
was already mixed with the blood of Adam's children.
Fallen ANGELS
« God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods » (Ps.82:1). « I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes » (Ps.82: 6-8
Having
no moral values Cain's sons committed adultery, raped, had several wives, and
thus Cain's people became much more numerous than Adam's offspring. Cain's
daughters were beautiful and seeing them some angels were tempted by their
beauty, created for themselves human bodies and descended on the earth. The
Bible says that they took as the wives human daughters and from these marriages
the evil giants (Gen. 6:1-5) were born.
Certainly,
the idea that the angels lived with people, for the modern man seems fantastic,
but for ancient people it was a conventional fact. It is interesting, that the
Greek texts of the Book of Enoch * (7:11) point out that women from the angels
gave birth to the three races: of giants, from which Naphelim come, and from
Naphelim further came Elioud. They had a human appearance but possessed great
magic force and were able to turn invisible or hide themselves in other
dimensions.
