So, when the Jews seized Paul during his sermon and brought him to the court to the proconsul Galleon, Galleon told them: « O Jews, there would be reason why I should bear with you. But if it is a question of words and names and your own law, look to it yourselves ...» (Acts 18: 14-15).
The
devil took every effort to change the name of God. But no matter how hard he
tried to cover, to forget, to destroy the name of God from memory of people –
he failed. It reached us from ancient sources, such as the manuscripts of the
Dead Sea found in sealed clay vessels in 1947.
In the
Hebrew writings there were no letters designating vowels. And the name of God
was written down approximately like this: YHWH.
The majority of linguists think that

The God , Lord and Baal are interchangeable.
The name YAHWEH - is irreplaceable.
About the name of
Jesus (about that name, under which people of the beginning of the first century
knew the Son of God) it is said: « Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall
call His name Immanuel, which is translated, “God
with us”» (Mat.1: 23).
«..Now this is His name
by which He will be called: The Lord
our righteousness» (Jer. 23:6; 33:16). “Behold, I send the
Angel before
you…Beware of Him and obey His voice…for My
name is in Him” (Ex.23:20-21) (look
p.12).
The real name of Jesus should have included a part from the name of His Father. Therefore the Pharisees tried to change it also. Then the name got the traditional in the Greek names ending - "us" (Compare: Zeus, Tarsus, and Parnassus, Dionysus, Pegasus and others).

« And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do , that the Father may be glorified in the Son » (John.14:13). By this name dirty devils were expelled and people were treated by His disciples (Mark 16:17). This name will save you from a devil: «there is no other name under heaven given among men by whom we must be saved» (Act.4:12).
